A well-rounded bowl…
This elegant little bowl is perfect for offering food or water to your pet. Especially fresh foods such as small pieces of cucumber, courgette, carrot, apple or the likes should be fed in a bowl like this one. It is 5.5 cm in diameter and about 3 cm in height, and its curved sides help to keep the contents free from bedding. Moreover, the smooth glaze makes it easy to clean and dishwasher safe.
The perfect size…
Many food bowls for hamsters and mice are large enough for several of these small animals to sit or lie down in them at once. In fact, with those bowls, small pets actually have to climb into them to reach bits of food in the middle, and they often accidentally soil their food in the process. Moreover, in those large bowls the recommended amounts of food for one or even several small pets often look like so little that not a few owners are tempted to seriously overfeed their pets.
These little Rodipet® Ceramic Bowsls can hold plenty of food for one or two animals or water for even more, yet it takes up very little space in the pet enclosure. Nor are they suitable only for solitary pets or pairs, since providing a number of feeding spots for larger groups helps prevent quarrels over food and ensures all individual pets have access to all feed components.
Safety firsty
If placing a bowl on top of a flat-roofed hidey house or an upper level to prevent it getting buried in bedding, please secure the bowl against being pushed over the edge. An easy way of securing it would be to glue strips of hardwood around the edges to form a rail over which the bowl cannot be pushed. A solvent-free white glue is perfect for this job as it is non-toxic and, once cured, poses no dangers even if your pet swallows some of it while chewing the wood.
